Stopped for dinner after a frosty cold beverage at another local beer place. Their selection is terrific and ever changing.
I started with a "Pliny the Elder" from Russian River and loved it. The food was very good, ya have to try the Gumbo. Also a good deal of "eye candy" and a nice atmospere.

Many beers on tap. They also have cask conditioned (hop devil the night I was there) Waitstaff and barstaff actually know beer! I had a basic cheesburger, but it was FANTASTIC! Great place.

Good beer selection, the place is a bit overrated however. the food was only so so, smallish portions. For the area, this is probably one of the better places to go, but it has a bit of a "snobbish" feel to it, certainly not a blue collar type of place, more suit and tie-ish. A good visit to stop in on occasion, but I wouldnt consider it a "steady haunt".

The Drafting Room is a great restaurant and has a tremendous selection of beers. The beer on tap is fresh with a nice selection of micro brews. I love this place. Great beer, great food and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Great Place. About 16 beers on tap, from Brewer's art, Victory, pauliner, and others. The beer menu dates each beer, and when it went on tap. When I was there the oldest was 7 Days, and most were under 3 days. Beer so fresh, that Bass almost tasted good.
By all means stop here you won't be dissapionted.

The Drafting Room is an oasis for those who want more than a local tavern yet less than a get-dressed up restaurant. This place has real atmosphere, not like those TGIF/Applebee type places. Over 20 beers are on tap, roughly half of which are "The Usual Suspects." The other half are rotated, and provide a solid variety of beer styles. Every 3 months The Drafting Room has a beer-tasting dinner on a Monday night with gourmet food and 4 beers. The bar also has a large selection of single-malt scotches. The service is usually great, but it can be slow on the weekends and for some Happy Hours due to the crowds. The food is a very high quality for the price; the burgers are large, the chicken Caesar salad is great, and the soups are also exellent. I once had a barbecued buffalo steak there, and I could cut it with a fork. Make reservations for Friday and Saturday dinners! I only wish that the Drafting Room would expand its locations. They have a winning recipe for people who want a good time in a relaxed environment, without flair-covered people ringing bells all the time.

Good selection of beer. They have about 8-10 rotating beers with 8-10 regular beers. There are some good belgium beers that are tough to find in most bars now a days. The food is always good and there had only been a couple times in about 50 visits where I was disappointed with the service. There are some good happy hours specials and Wednesday is free glass night. One particular beer comes with a logo glass and its always something worth trying. This is the best place to drink in the area.

This is our favorite restaurant! We go here at least once a week. They have just changed their menu for the summer and the new additions are wonderful, while keeping many of the old favorites. My food recommendations are the chopped greek salad and crab/spinach dip. A must see restaurant for those who want great food and beer.

Have tons of beers to choose from. If you can't find something that is to your liking then there is something wrong. Had a chicken sandwich. Very tasty.

I took my folks out here to eat late in July. It's not too far from where they live so I was hoping they would like it. They had about 12 beers on tap but there was no pils, which we were looking for. They had a number of Belgians which I could have done without. Try as I might, I just can't get the hang of those beers. I did get to try the Weyerbacher Hop Infusion which was very nice but I still like their IPA the best. I had ostrich steak for dinner which was very tasty. If I lived closer, I could go over more often to see how they rotate the beers.

This part of Montgomery County is pretty devoid of good beer bars so the Drafting Room is a welcome sight. Nice draft selection, though there are a one or two wimps to choose from, inc. Amstel Light. Why does anybody drink that crap? Anyway, you can go from wheat to stout on tap and they have added a hand pump. Victory Hop Devil is available on it. Now that's worth it just for that!! Excellent bottle selection. Good food, from dinners to sandwiches. Will return again.

Nice place for smoking cigars. Convenient valet parking. Medium priced food. Could use more wheat beers in their selection.
